How to Measure Truck Bed Size for Tonneau Covers

How to measure truck bed length

Why is this important?

All the tonneau covers we sell are made to custom fit your truck, so it's important we send you the correct part. Some brands and types of tonneau covers fit and install differently.

There are also various cab types available with different bed length combinations. Be sure to match your exact year, make, model, bed length and cab type when noted to make sure you get the right tonneau cover. Please give us a call if you have any questions about the tonneau cover that's right for you!

How to Measure

  1. Bed lengths are determined by measuring from the inside of the bulkhead to the inside of the tailgate.
  2. Measure the inside of your truck bed as shown in the image.
  3. The measurement in inches is the exact measurement shown in the Example Conversion Chart below.
  4. Convert the measurement into feet.
  5. Remember: the advertised bed length is sometimes rounded from the actual bed length.
