If you're looking for a hard tonneau cover that's there when you need it and out of the way when you need your truck bed, the BAK BakFlip G2 is what you need. The BakFlip G2 is made of expanded polystyrene sandwiched with aluminum panels, black powder coated aluminum frames, and heavy duty rubber hinges. There's no drilling for installation and you can operate the tonneau cover from either side of the bed - no switching sides to lock everything down!
The low profile and textured style of the BakFlip G2 gives your truck a slick look when closed, and it folds up out of the way when you're hauling cargo in your truck bed. Just fold the tonneau cover up against your rear window and you're good to go - no uninstalling and re-installing. The G2 also have different locking positions that automatically lock the hinges into place as you fold it up, so you can take off with the tonneau partially folded down. Perfect for hauling wood or ladders while you still have some smaller cargo toward the front of the bed. "Tough as Nails!"This has to be the best tonneau cover on the market. It's hard 'tough as nails' satin black surface matches the trim of my truck, folds out of the way, easy to remove, very secure for all my tools inside...AND let's me keep my ladder rack on my Silverado! (doesn't cover up the holes on the side rails). Can't see how you can improve much on that.

"EXCELLENT!"Last month I had $1600 damage to my new truck from a hail storm. The BakFlip had some small indentations but within a few days of being in the sun they were completely gone. The hail that hit my hood cracked my paint they hit so hard. The hail was no match for my BakFlip! Again, excellent product.

"11 out of 10. The cover is everything i expected it would be and more. The quality of the product is exceptional. Definitely came in handy on vacation so I could lock up all of our belongings in the bed of the truck and not have to worry about anyone breaking into it. I was a little disappointed at first because the initial delivery date was later than promised. I used the online chat service and told the customer service employee on the other end the time frame couldn't work for me due to leaving for vacation shorter than the ship time. They were very courteous and said the would help to try and get the shipping date moved up as long as I didn't cancel my order. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they had my product on my door-step before they said the could! Turned out great, I was able to use it for vacation. Was real appreciative of all the help."
